Our founder story.

Approved by Fritz was founded in 2020 by Danielle Heeren in New York City. During the pandemic, she noticed something missing: dog accessories that matched the style of modern homes. What started as a creative spark on the empty streets of NYC became a female-led small business creating GRS-certified, sustainable dog accessories now sold in over 30 countries.
