As the year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the incredible journey 2024 has been. From industry events to personal celebrations, here are the highlights that shaped our year:
1. SuperZoo: Our First Experience
This year, we attended SuperZoo for the first time and met so many amazing people and dogs in real life. Connecting with industry professionals and seeing the rise of female innovators in the pet scene was truly inspiring. Also huge thanks to Liv Dellano & PR star and best help I could wish for!
2. Moving Back to the Netherlands
After 5.5 years in New York, we made the big move back to the Netherlands. Fritz, born in South Carolina, is now a Dutch resident! While we’ll always miss the energy of NYC, being closer to family and friends has been a welcome change.
3. Opening Our Dutch Warehouse
Returning to the Netherlands allowed us to open a new warehouse, making it easier to serve our European clients. We’re excited to soon offer direct online orders across Europe, streamlining your experience with Approved by Fritz.
4. New Office in Amsterdam
Our new office on the beautiful Prinsengracht canal is shared with 15 incredible women. This space has become a hub of creativity, collaboration, and support—one of the best decisions we made this year.
5. Launching The Fritz Bird Toy
We introduced The Fritz Bird, a design-forward toy that’s both fun and tough to destroy. Seeing dogs enjoying it has brought us so much joy, and we’re thrilled to see more Fritz Birds in your homes next year.
6. Partnering with Moda Operandi
We’re honored to collaborate with Moda Operandi, one of the most curated fashion platforms in the world. This partnership reflects our commitment to blending style and function in the pet world.
7. Store Visits Across the World
This year, we visited incredible stores in LA, Cascais, and Paris. Meeting retailers like Pretty Good Boy, Julia VeteraniaFarmacia, and Barkers and Brothers was energizing and inspiring. We’re so proud to work with such unique stores and can’t wait to visit more next year!
8. A Personal Highlight: Our Wedding
The year wouldn’t be complete without mentioning our wedding! Surrounded by family, friends, and even Fritz (who made a partial appearance), it was a day we’ll cherish forever.
