It's the end of 2023, and we are wrapping up our second year of Approved by Fritz. What a year it has been. A lot of highs and also with a few lows. I'm incredibly proud of what we have reached so far, together with all the amazing people, companies, and stores.
As I always like to look back at our milestones, I even more like to see what the future will bring us.
Some of the highlights of 2023:

We had our first trade show; Shoppe Object was a great success, and we met so many cool retailers and brands. We are super excited to come back again in February.

We visited Superzoo in Vegas and were able to see so many incredible brands under one (HUGE) roof and at the same time meet some of our retailers in real life. We had so much fun and it was so inspiring. Next year we will attend Superzoo ourselves!

Approved by Fritz got featured in design magazines I could have only been dreaming of. Design Milk, Apartment Therapy, Architectural Digest, Remodelista and well-known magazines like CNN, Wirecutter, Real Simple. What an honor!

We launched the Goalgetter bed, Baby Blue and Burgundy Sun collars and leashes!

This all reached our sales goal, turning our business into six figures!!
But you can't go high without the lows...

Two of our products that we wanted to restock had color production errors, which caused a lot of delays, waste, and money.

We had to stop working with one of our partners, which is always a disappointment as we love building long-term relationships.

As this is part of the success, I'm currently spending a lot of time in the operations, making sure to get your orders fulfilled fast. But as a founder, I realize that I need to work on the business and not in the business.
We are super excited to see what next year brings. We are moving our warehouse, have some cool new products in the pipeline, and are ready to take three big steps to grow Approved by Fritz.
