Find the right collar fit

Where the collar sits, with room for two fingers.
  1. Measure around the neck. Use a soft tape where the collar normally sits. No tape? Use a piece of string, then measure it with a ruler.
  2. Leave room for two fingers. Measure with that comfortable space included. Don't add the allowance again.
  3. Match the range below. Choose a size that includes your measurement, then compare the strap widths.

Between two sizes?

Some ranges overlap. At 43 cm, for example, both Medium and Large cover the measurement; Medium has a 2 cm strap and Large a 2.5 cm strap. Choose your preferred width while staying within the stated range.

Check the fit when the collar arrives: it should not slip over your dog's head.
